Arts & Crafts or Mission Red Oak Child's School Chairs are reminiscent of a 1930's school chair.  The chair has a seat height of 12".  The back leg is canted to add stability.

We make these chairs just like we build adult chairs using quality materials, dowel construction; and we use Tried & True Original Wood Finish.  We hand-rub this finish which is 100% solvent free, zero VOCs, 100% safe for food contact, and has all natural ingredients.  This is a clear finish which allows you to see the grain and color of the wood.  All edges of our chairs have been gently rounded for the safety of young children.

This chair is made from solid Red Oak, no MDF or plywood.  It is shipped to you just as you see it in the photo, completely assembled.
